Framed by a coordinating uni-directional rotating elapsed timing bezel, the silver patterned dial draws inspiration from the “wave” mark, created in 1962 as a symbol of high-grade water-resistant timepieces and displayed on the casebacks of Seiko’s divers to this day. The dial layout also boasts improved symmetry with LumiBrite coating on the hands and all 12 markers for enhanced visibility. The remarkable Limited Edition is equipped with a 24-jewel automatic movement that beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers an upgraded power reserve of approximately 72 hours along with manual winding capability. Crafted of stainless steel with super-hard coating, this superbly functional diver’s watch includes a curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface, as well as a screwdown crown and caseback.
